The U.S. Solid electric solenoid valve features a durable brass body, suitable for outdoor use (but not underwater). It's favored by customers for DIY projects, moderate temperature and chemical applications, as well as for controlling flow in irrigation, reverse osmosis, and motorcycle systems.

Most U.S. Solid valves are unidirectional, meaning they are intended to flow in one direction only, as indicated by the arrow on the valve. If connected in the opposite direction, the valve will not actuate properly. Ensure the medium passing through is filtered, as particles can cling to the gasket over time, causing improper sealing.
